after 3 years of drenching my brains in the knowledge pool (not that much actually ekekeke) at uiTm terengganu, i've finally found my steps towards the stairs of dewan seri budiman, uitm shah alam...
17/04/2005 - my convocation day...
i wasn't that eager to attend the ceremony...
but my beloved mama put her words into something that knocked my head so hard that i didn't have a valid reason for not going on purpose...
she even spared me some big cash to get my black baju melayu tailored...
i don't know...
i just didn't have the feeling to go...
no anxiety, no nervous feeling, no whatsoever...
the only thing i felt was sleepy ekekeke...
the night before, all of us except abah went to subang parade...
we were digital camera hunting...
this is our first digital camera as my father prefered the manual sLR but well i don't care...
i want a digital camera...
so i chose the canon ixus 40 thanks to wahab for his guidance before...
and mama being the best debater of sekolah menengah sains selangor, happily showed me her trading skills...
she was asking for discounts consistently...
and she was very persistent too...
and when the shop guy marked the lowest price he could offer, mama asked for free accessories...
at first we got a free 256mb memory card...
the default memory card is 16mb...
so that means we won the competition by obtaining an extra memory card with no charge at all wooohooo...
then...
mama asked to lower the price even more haha...
aku: eh mama dah la tu... dah la dpt murah, dpt memory card 256mb lak tu...
mama: eh syhh senyap²...
ekekeke...
seboleh² je mama ni...
the shop guy then offered for a very nicely done camera pouch...
it looks sexy too...
mama asked again for free things...
and this time we got coupons to develop 400 pics for FREE...
upon paying, mama handed her mastercard...
that guy gave us an awkward look and said "patutnye ni xleh discount ni kak"...
aku: eh nape plak ni?
dudu: mama bayar gune platinum card la bang
wah ini sudah kantoi...
tapi mama buat xtau je...
dan brader itu akhirnye pasrah...
hahahaha don't play² with mama...
and mama was surely the winner oh yeah...
and yesterday i woke up late...
11.15am i guess...
all the night before i was busy chatting until subuh...
like i said before, i wasn't that eager to go...
i was suppossed to take my place in the annexe at 12pm but i remembered ayuni safira said "kau dtg lewat sket pun xpe"...
ini bukan lewat sket... ini lewat btul haha...
ironed my melayu suit with samping...
took a really long shower...
shaved my moustache...
trimmed my side burns and my goatee...
put on my suit...
sprayed some perfume...
made a simple hairdo...
and voila...
it took me 1 hour n 15 mins to get done haha...
ye gue mmg lembab bab² bersiap ni...
but still i managed to reach uitm at 1pm...
it's not that far from my house...
sampai² je org dah beratur dah...
pastu kecoh² la cari position pe smua...
n actually there was a problem with my robe...
the sleeves were really short...
they were my elbow's length...
i thought maybe this is the design for a diploma's robe but seeing other people wearing theirs', i doubt it i was correct...
and it happened i found out that those sleeves were sewed by the person who used the robe before this...
dammit...
luckily i got enough time to change it...
and i got a beautiful one ekekekeke...
nasib la kan...
waiting in the annexe was enough of a hell for me...
just imagine...
names were called one by one and i was the 717th person...
okay you can stop imagine now...
but there were interesting fill-in slots in between every 200th people approximately...
the uitm band performed a jazzy song which caught my foot thumping on the ground...
the second one was an old malay song...
it was called "aryati" i guess...
the pro-chancellor smiled upon hearing this song...
maybe it reminded him of him in those days courting his wife haha...
but the best performance would go to "the end of the line" song...
4 girls sang it and most audience love them...
perhaps they were from the uitm school of music...
universiti lain ade ke buat konvo camni???
pelik gak uitm ni haha...
and then i took my diploma...
my 1st ever diploma in computer science...
blablabla and blablabla...
i'm lazy to write what happened...
nothing interesting though...
hmm my name was marked with a *...
muhd shahrulazman bin sulaiman *...
the * was given to anyone who graduated with a cgpa between 3.00-3.49...
yeah yeah i'm a mediocre i know...
my degree classmate got 3 stars which means she got the dean's list award for every of her diploma semesters...
wow...

women are not only fun...
they are really smart too ekekeke...
due to high requests, i was involved in so many photo sessions ahahaha...
very² tiring but it was fun...
i love photo sessions...
i love it when my face is in your pictures ekekeke...
aha i met this one girl, suhaila abu, who i didn't have the chance to talk while we were in dungun...
it's not that i didn't have the chance...
it's more like i was the one who didn't take the chance...
ala bukan pape pun saje nk bual²...
aku kan makhluk super peramah...
kan ayu kan haha...
she was my classmate during the 1st semester...
in the 2nd semester, she got into another class...
and she was supposed to be in my class in the 3rd semester but then she moved to uitm shah alam...
so we had a little chit chat, took photos, ate some kuih, drank some tea and coffee...
and when she was about to leave...
she held out her hand and shook everybody's hand there...
and i...
being the most flexible sarcastic guy anyone could imagine, i pulled up my baju melayu sleeves up to my palm and said "aku orang baik" and shook her hand...
and she made that "ah ye la tuh" face...
ahahahahaha...

so that was most of the story...
i am just too lazy to type the whole event in greater details...
weird eh...
this is just not like the usual me ekekeke...
maybe i'm too sleepy right now...
need to go...
